Considering the Covid-19 Pandemic and its far-reaching impact, we would like to assure that all our tours will operate under strict regulations for the foreseeable future. While all of us adapt to the ‘new normal’ we will leave no stone unturned in ensuring your trip is not compromised in either safety or enjoyment. While it is our responsibility to follow all the norms, guidelines and mandates laid by the government and registered health agencies, it is required that all guides and guests adhere to the following measures:
Social Distancing -
Minimizing physical contact is extremely crucial while travelling. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines as best as possible. A minimum distance of 2 meters (6.5 feet) is generally required however we understand this may vary under different circumstances.
Safety Kit -
A good breathable mask, a small sanitizer and gloves are a must while travelling. We also recommend everyone to wash hands on a regular basis.
Arogya Setu App -
We recommend everyone to keep the Arogya Setu App installed and up to date on your mobile devices.
Baggage -
We recommend everyone to cut down on excess baggage, as travelling light and carrying your own luggage would minimize the risk of unnecessary exposure to the surroundings. Please keep all personal belongings in the vehicles in protective covering if possible.
Internal Transits -
Our guides will make sure that all the baggage and transit vehicles are thoroughly sanitized whenever deemed necessary.
Accommodation -
Wildlife Resorts inherently follow social distancing guidelines, yet we will make sure that your accommodation is arranged in resorts which follow all the necessary safety measures and guidelines.
Safaris -
All the safaris would be conducted as per the guidelines issued by the Forest Department. Our guides will make sure that the safari vehicles would be sanitized after every safari.
We hope that the above information has given you peace of mind. We at Psithurism assure you of our sincere and meticulous loyalty to this protocol. It is our moral responsibility to ensure that we create a safe environment for all your travel plans in the near future.
